Urlo (Howl) (a Carl Solomon) è un poema di Allen Ginsberg. Poeta americano, uno dei protagonisti della Beat Generation degli anni 1950 e della successiva contro cultura .Fu letto per la prima volta nel 1955 nella Six Gallery di San Francisco, dal poeta stesso. Il poema fu pubblicato nella raccolta Howl and Other Poems nel 1956 dalla City Lights Bookstore di Lawrence Ferlinghetti.
La poesia segue lo stesso ritmo di una performance jazz, durante la quale i musicisti tornano sempre sulla stessa nota per poi prendere una strada improvvisata.

The poem was published in the collection Howl and Other Poems in 1956 by Lawrence Ferlinghetti's City Lights Bookstore.
The poem follows the same rhythm of a jazz performance, during which the musicians always return to the same note and then take an impromptu road.
