Figura affascinante, archetipica: avvicinandosi con l'occhio alla montagna, stringendo dal suo corpo immenso, al singolo sperone di roccia fino al solitario sasso in vetta quasi non cambia forma; l'abete ha forma di abete nella sua interezza, e così in ogni ramo, in ogni rametto - in ogni ago l'intuizione di un abete; in ogni verso del grande poeta si intravede il messaggio che il poema tutto porta. Figura più comune di quanto si possa pensare al primo impatto.
